About Display Engineer

Who we are

Display Engineer is a TFT LCD display module brand run by display application engineers. The brand, the engineering support and the customer relationship are ours; manufacturing is backed by our direct factories. Shenzhen PengJi Photoelectricity in Dongguan, a TFT module maker since 2004 and a National High-Tech Enterprise, is one of them. We are not a catalog reseller: each product page states which factory manufactures the module.

We started Display Engineer because hardware engineers rarely start with a part number. They start with constraints: a processor, an enclosure, an environment, a budget and a production date. This site puts datasheets, integration notes and application engineers in front of those engineers, and connects them with the right factory for the job.

What we do

• Selection: match size, resolution, interface, brightness, touch and temperature to your design.
• Integration support: init sequences, timing and device-tree help for ESP32, STM32, Rockchip, NXP and Raspberry Pi.
• Customization: FPC, backlight, cover glass, touch and optical bonding on standard panels, built in our direct factories.
• Replacement: alternatives when a panel goes end-of-life.
• Volume supply: factory-direct, with one Display Engineer engineering contact from samples to production.

How we work with our direct factories

Our direct factories build modules themselves (COG/FOG bonding, backlight and touch lamination in-house), publish complete datasheets, support samples from 1 pc and customization at project volumes, and work hand in hand with our engineers. We add direct factories when a project needs a technology or size range that PengJi does not cover.
