Who is responsible
displayengineer.com ("Display Engineer", "we") is an engineering and sourcing service for display modules. Our contact address is PengJi Industrial Park, Songyuan 3rd Road, Xiangxi Village, Shipai Town, Dongguan, Guangdong, China. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use advertising trackers on this website.
Legal basis
We process inquiry data to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries and keeping the website secure.
How long we keep data
Inquiry data is kept for as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting business relationship, and for up to 3 years after our last contact unless a longer period is required by law. Server logs are kept for a limited period for security purposes.
Sharing
Data is processed by our own engineering and sales staff. To quote, sample or build a module, we share the project details and the contact details needed for that order with the direct factory that manufactures it (currently factories in Guangdong, China, such as Shenzhen PengJi Photoelectricity). Factories may use this data only for your request. We also use service providers for website hosting and email delivery, who process data only on our instructions. Your data may therefore be processed in China.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, or object to its processing, by contacting us. If you are in the European Economic Area or the UK, you may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
